Wood planks

Wood planks are the most popular timber shape for use as flooring, but now they come in a multitude of different finishes.

The type whether it be plank or herringbone can have as much impact on the look of your interior scheme as shade and finish.

Traditionally plank come in a random pack size, and this is also true of our stock, with their length ranging from 300m to 1900mm and a choice of widths dependant on the colour/range, we also have set lengths available.

Herringbone planks

Parquet flooring has been a designer favourite since it was first introduced to Britain in C17th.

Parquet/Herringbone is still currently one of the most popular timber shapes for use as flooring, they also come in a multitude of different finishes

Until the advent of modern engineered constructions, wood for use in flooring were usually in a plank format. But in recent years contemporary design has celebrated the technological advances and favoured richer grains and herringbone staves.

Resulting in more than two-thirds of our stock is now Herringbone.

Our stave sizes are 90mm x 500mm and 90mm x 400mm dependant on which range, making a great balance in width and length.
